The gap of 75 mm between the outer and the inner wall is filled with special grade glass wool to prevent thermal losses. Triple walled back of unit is fitted with two air circulation fans for maintaining temperature uniformity throughout the chamber. Full view inner glass door permits inspection of specimens, without disturbing the same. Lock and key arrangement is provided in the double walled outer door. Unit is fitted with door operated illumination lamp inside the chamber. Refrigeration unit is formed by ISI marked compressor. The front panel is provided with separate indicator lamps for main, heating and incoming voltage. Supplied complete with 3 shelves, cord and plug to work on 220/230/VA.C. supply Temperature from 5^oC to 50^oC is controlled by SOLID STATE EELECTRONIC DIGITAL TEMPERATURE INDICATOR-CUM-CONTROLLER , with an accuracy of ± 0.5^oC.

It is used for sterilization under saturated steam pressure at any selected point between 10 to 20 p.s.i. (adjustable). For unattened grinding of non gummy and non fibrous materials. Extensively used for preparing coal samples for calorific tests. The mortar revolves and the pestle moves back and fourth in a pattern reaching all parts of the mortar. Its metallic housing with a F.H.P Motor driven detachable turn table of cast aluminium has adjustable posts to hold motors of 75 to 135 m.m. Dia. The arm of the pestle driving mechanism has hinged heavy head which can be raised to inspect or remove the sample or additional material to be added as desired. A built in timer permits selection of grinding operation upto 60 minutes. The grinding vessel and mortar are all completely covered by a clear acrylic cover. Double walled chamber has inner made up of thick stainless steel (SS-304 grade) and outer wall is of thick PCRC sheet duly enameled painted. A glass window is provided on the front side for an easy inside view. A high speed stirrer with a FHP motor is fitted to the unit for continuous stirring and thus maintaining a uniform temperature throughout. Designed so as to meet the requirement of US Federal Standard 209 B (BS 5295) providing free air to meet class 100 (class conditions) the cabinets are fabricated out of thick board duly sunmica clad. Interior surface are epoxy painted for its longer life. The work table is made of thick board which is sunmica clad at top. Side panels are made out of thick transparent plexi glass duly framed. The unit is fitted with pre filter and is made to pass through highly effective HEPA (High Efficiency Particular Air). Filters having efficiency rating as high as 99.99% with cold DOP and 99.97% with hot DOP, thus retaining all air borne particles of size 0.3 micron and larger. Using a dynamic machine, the blower and motor assembly is statically and dynamically balanced ISI Marked motor of ¼ H.P. capacity operates with minimum noise level.
